Well today I was driving down the road and I could not put up with the rattling doors any more. I got home and dug around until I came up with some Dynamat I had from when I did the stereo in my Sonoma. I used on the inner door skin Dynaliner. I chose this because I wanted it to have some thickness to it so when I put the door panel back on it would fit a little tighter. I put the door back together and it didn’t seem to make much of a difference so I study it some more and came down to what was making the most noise was the armrest/handle it seemed to be the one part that was not part of the door panel it was attach to the door panel by some screws and some melted plastic rivets. As I studied more I found that there was not really a way to Dynamat that area, then I decided to just Dynamat the hole door panel to see if I could take away the surrounding vibration and see if that would help with the door panel vibration. I used Dynamat extreme on that so it would not be too thick that the door panel would not go back on. After all that I put it back together and it seems to be fix I will know foreshore tomorrow.

Dynamat until it hurts. Can't go wrong. Added bonus is it retains more heat inside the vehicle for winter driving.

Im starting my own door panel no rattle project. At my shop were building custom door panels for the front and rear. The front will have 2 6.5 component sets and the back will have 1 as well. It'll take me a few weeks but I'll get pics up asap.

So I have finish all four doors, I started by doing the rear passenger door because it made the most noise. After that the driver rear door was noticeable. So today I did the last three and there are NO MORE RATTLES!!! And the doors sound different when they shut. There is more of a thud. Know I can really hear how crappie the infinity speaker really sound. My subs will be in Tuesday so I can get started on a fiber glass sub box and then I can start getting rid of the new rattles.

DYNOMAT!!!!!!!!!!! Great Idea!!!!!!!!!!! My console rattles so loud, that I hear it over my radio. I will be getting some dynomat today, thanks for the post:rep:

Speaking of rattling... does anyone elses roof racks rattle also? would that Dynamat work on that they have been replaced two times already with new remodeled ones and they still rattle. The dealer replaced my console. I don't know what to do. Good luck with yours.

Dynamat is too expensive.

I have done my entire interior in FatMat (http://fatmat.com) and it only cost $129 for 100 square feet delivered. Great stuff. I have used it now on all three of my vehicles.

Pardon my ignorance, but is this rattle something that happens from the audio system or is it a a rattle from just driving?

I don't have any door rattles and I am wondering if they come with age.

It is from the stereo. Mine did it the day I drove it off the lot.

Dynamat is too expensive.

Let me know how that works for ya. I have heard that over time that Fatmat looses it stick. I used dynamat because my last vehicle was sponsored by them.

I will let you know but to be honest, the glue on the fatmat appears to be heavier and stickier than the dynamat that I have used in the past. Only time will tell.

Yeah, my door panels on the drivers door is about to make me go insane. It rattles, then it doesnt. I also get some rattling sometimes from the shifter area. Dodge needs to do something about this problem. Why should we spend our money on thier poor craftsmanship and design? We need to get a poll going and then someone with some pull can show them this.

The fourmz has built in censors that filter out 1) bad words and 2) links to competing forums. This may not be a competitor forum you linked to but the censor sees it as bad.
