I had that with door - just take off leads to battery and it resets ! Happened twice so farJust when I was sat wondering if the UK was ever going to catch up with this recall...a letter drops in the post from FCA UK Ltd. Although Dodge withdrew from the UK a good number of years back, and FCA claim they no responsibility to repair Dodge vehicles in the UK...all is not lost.
All owners here in the UK should be receiving the same letter shortly!!
The letter gives details of 2 companies to contact, one in Sweden and the other in Germany. One of these kwauto.com shows appointed dealers here in the UK on their website, my nearest is Unity Automotive in Kidlington, Oxford. I spoke with them when the W09 recall notice was received, and they confirmed they would be handling the recall repair when a full repair was issued. Having had the temporary repair carried out by a Jeep dealer at my cost, it's now time for me to contact Unity to get the full and final repair.
This will be once I've managed to repair the darn driver's door unlock problem![]()
