This is a little bizarre, so any Nitro subjected to the W09 temporary fix is now at a disadvantage. There will be no clips to check as the badge has been removed. No loose clips probably means no justification for new airbag cover…time to make the phone call to the dealer to check this out, gonna be a pretty unhappy chap by the sound of things.

01/26/2023. After having 2 holes in my steering wheel airbag for 18 months, I finally called the local Dodge dealer in St. Louis to complain. They said that they finally had the repair parts, and got me in right away. I guess you have to request the part after they take your emblem off. They replaced the skin on the airbag, along with a new emblem that looks pretty much the same. No Charge!

It's not just in the UK, it's in the US too. I took my car in over a year ago when I received the recall notice and the parts came in just last week. It appears that it is a supplier issue. Anyway, it's more than just replacing the emblem (which they do replace). There's an airbag kit involved as well.

Yeah you’re right it is worldwide I was only calling it out to UK owners as Dodge don’t have any manufacturer presence here in the UK anymore. Unlike you guys in the US, so getting the recall repair done here is a massive challenge regardless of parts availability.

Well, hopefully, since the parts are now available here, they should be available there to whoever you take your car to or auto parts store you purchase from. Good luck!
