hey guys, i was wondering if anyone has found a drop kit for the nitro yet.

None that I have seen so far.... but I was under my Nitro this afternoon and was amazed at how easy it would be to drop it 1 or 2"

The front has what looks to me like a clevis fork at the bottom end of the strut. It's long too. If a shorter one were fabricated it would drop the front end. It's about half way from the a-arm fulcrum to spindle so a .75" shorter fork would result in a 1.5" drop which I think would be perfect.

Going the route of a shorter fork in front would mean the stock strut could still be used.

The rear is as simple as new springs and shocks.

I am interested in lowering my Nitro 4x4 sxt as well. Please let me know if you hear about a "drop" kit. Thanks

nope. I called them about it last week and while it is listed on their site, they have not released it yet. They told me to expect it sometime near the end of October.

so whats the best way to get her down 2'' and still a good ride
