Does anyone know where they put the connector for the electric break controller?

Also what type and weight trailers are you guys/ girls towing with your Nitros.

We just purchased our 2008 3.7L SLT (we had a 1500 Big Horn with the Hemi) and are wondering how they tow and how about that all important MPG!!!

Thanks in advance for any help!!!! Can't wait to hear from you.......

Hello, j3cub85hp Welcome to the best Nitro forum on the net.:wavey: Congrats on the purchase!
If you do a search for "Trailer" in the "Electrical Problems and Questions" section there is a lot of information on Trailer brakes. Here is an example of one I found.

There are several threads about trailer towing / capacity in the forums as well.

You probably should go over to the "Newbie Section" and Introduce yourself to everyone. The folks here are great, and don't forget to post some Pics.

Welcome to the forum! I know you will enjoy all the great people as well as all the information.

As for towing, I have pulled my flatbed trailer with a full water tank. Together, they weight just over 4,000 pounds. My 3.7 pulled just as well as my 2500 Ram does. Not an issue at all.

I have also used my Nitro to pull my 20' pontoon and again there was no issue. I would suggest that if you are going to be pulling a trailer with this kind of weight on any trip other than the short runs, you might want to consider getting an equalizer hitch. That helps keep the Nitro on an even keel and gives a little better control

Good luck and hope this helps! :wavey:
