Hello there, my engine on nitro 2010 sxt V6 is done on 176 000. Water in engine from coolant. I want to keep this car but I want this car to be more fuel economical used for regular daily driving. My question is is it better to get new v6 and do some changes on it or get something different more economical. What do you recommend? I would want 27 mpg combined. Pros and cons

Well I would go ahead and put a 4.0 in it if you've got that kind of money the nitro 4.0 motor is awesome it has very few problems other than coil packs timing belt and water pump like most things but a 3.7 motor is junk I would stay with the nitro since you know all the problems with it 176,000 miles is nothing on these I've seen one with 315,000 running great so just go up in size go to a 4.0 because it 3.7 is junk blessings to you

Thank you for your help. How about fuel economy with this 4.0. I would want to improve that
