I found out that if you hold down "Menu" and the two seek buttons at the same time you will enter an Engineer Menu. Pretty intersting. You can check software versions, update software, enable/disable a couple of things, run hdd check, etc.

So far I don't need to do anything with it, but interesting to see that it is there.

To exit the menu, press the same buttons.

Hopefully we'll get some updates from Chyrsler soon!

Beware of screwing around in the engineering menu. You may change something that can only be changed back by the flashing tool. Such as language,settings,fuctions........ect. BE werry werry careful......lol

Just a tidbit, We have gotten a number of radios here at NAV-TV that the customer had to pay to reflash the radio to work properly again.....

Chrysler updates should be available sometime late September, Thats what we have been told by our contacts there....

Ha! I wish! I haven't seen those options. There is a demo mode you can turn "on" or "off." I'm not sure what the purpose of this is since when I changed it, I couldn't tell a difference. I was hoping that Demo mode woudl enable in motion video and stuff, thinking that it was maybe a mode the dealers could us to show off the stuff....but alas, no luck.

Guys we had to buy a Jeep and make a module for video in motion. It's all via the can wires. Not as easy as you think.............rmg I know you are aware of our products .......Jaggles pm me for more info..........

I have MyGig with the Rear Seat VES in my new R/T. When I hook a Playstation game console to the Rear VES inputs the video plays great on the Rear VES, but when I send the video up front (while parked) it drops frames and freezes on MyGig. Audio is fine and rear video is fine, its just the video on MyGig that drops frames. I tested a few other MyGig/VES equipped R/Ts on the lot and they all did the same thing.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm hoping that a MyGig update solves this

Possible the MyGIG updates will be dealer applied using the StarSCAN.

The MyGIG manual gives a URL for updates (which isn't yet active: www.chrysler.com/mygig. Rumor is that it will be September-ish).

My guess/hope is that updates will be downloadable and applied via USB or CD.
