This past weekend my better half and I were on the highway heading home. I had the cruise set at 70 or so and everything was just fine UNTIL out of the blue the esp light goes on and the Nitro goes into a "semi stall" for lack of better words. It didnt last very long as when I went to hit the accelerator everything was back to normal. Also I tapped the esp off switch to see if that was the problem??? That is kinda scary when you are cruising along and you feel this sudden loss of power....and again it only lasted a few seconds. What is going on? Has only happened that one time.

The conditions were dry and from what I could tell (in the dark) the highway was dry with no moisture on it.

I think this is one of the issues know to the Nitro - stalling. It happened to me once while at a red light but has never happened before. I'm sure there is a thread about it... might not be the same thing though.

You are probably right...yes it is below freezing here in good ole Ohio..haha. This has never happened before so I just wanted to see what everyone thought it might be which from what I can tell it must be normal.

Yea for some reason a while ago my EAS/BAS light came on along with my ESP light. wasnt flashing or anything, but just came on , and a little while later it just quite. didnt lose power or anything though, it was weird.

mine came on once while i was on the autobahn but we was drivin pretty fast and i hit a patch of black ice in a turn and it did its thing it didnt alarm me there is patches ever where and it comes on and off everytime i hit one so maybe u hydro planed or sometimes the painted lines can cause slipage) dont kno 4 sure 1 cause there r many
