Magnaflow on my Nitro R/T, better MPG 3-4 and much better throttle response. Sound is loader but I think better, when crusing down the highway its not much loader then stock. Well worth the money wish I would have done it on my last truck. Hope that helps

Hey Dave. Was it worth the money? That depends on how you value increased vehicle exhaust sound and the small change in performance that is perceived to go along with it. I will say this-just my opinion: Don't modify your exhaust looking for an increase in fuel mileage. I have not seen this at all. It hasn't decreased either. I am getting 17.3 mpg, mostly city driving.

Mine does rev faster with better throttle response than with the stock exhaust. However, you would probably only notice that in a full throttle run. Do that and your mileage would drop significantly. The best thing I got out of the deal was more torque at a lower rpm.

Back to the exhaust note. A driver that enjoys a nice exhaust sound will more readily overlook the vehicle's other quirks because in general they are more pleased with their ride all of the time. :D In general, it puts one of these on my face every day. That made it worth it for me.

I agree with HVN, the exhaust note was the reason I modified mine. It also puts a huge :D on my face! Do what makes you happy and ignore the naysayers! It's your Nitro!
