I had a question about where everyone is getting their exhaust from. I have the 3.7 and I am stuck between swapping the muffler and resonator or changing the whole cat back. Any ideas on which is better? Also where and at what price are people getting their cat back systems? Thanks for any info.

Straight pipes is what I am an advocate of. The sound inside a tunnel or going under an over pass is amazing. Parking garages are the best. All in all I am into mine more than what a typical cat back would cost. For non intrusive sound and subtle looks then go with a cat back. Getting rid of the resonators will help too for a good sound. Have you heard about joining the black nitro section? Check in the video sections and you will see what straight pipes sound like on the 3.7L nitro.

If your going to swap the muffler and resonator you might as well go for a whole catback. Go to the websites of all the major manufacturers and you can listen to audio clips. They will give you some idea of sound, albeit not the exact sound of the Nitro. You can then search out retailers from the links.

Yeah I am realizing what it would cost just to do the muffler and remove the resonator :(. Well I might as well go for the whole thing this way I can do it myself and make sure I like it. Guess I will tell my wife afterwards about it :D! Thanks for the moral help in getting me to justify the whole cat back.
