Has anyone used or know anyone who has used the Alpine F1 Status head unit? I'm really considering buying it even thought it is $2400 just for the head unit. I don't know anyone who has heard it personally so I guess I am hoping some one on here has or knows someone who has. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used to work at a car audio dealer in Marion Indiana and we did a mercedes G55 with full f1. definetly worth the money if you belong to the country club and want to tell all of your friends you dropped 15 grand on an audio system. they are really neat but you have to be pretty hard core into sq to even consider it. if you're asking questions on here you probably arent the top contender to buy one. the only 2 sales of f1 we had were call ahead appointments and both had everything picked out before we ever even talked.
