This is my very first post. I have an '07 Black R/T and love it. I'm not a car guru like many of you so I don't post much but I do rely on many of your posts for information/advice so thank you all and keep up the good work.
Question: I purchased my Nitro without the Uconnect option. When I pressed the Uconnect button it would say Uconnect not available (or active?). A week later I purchased a MyGig on Ebay and had it installed. Now, the Uconnect is active and talks to me but does not pick up my voice commands. If I purchase the rear view mirror with the microphone (p/n 4806228AB) and the mirror wiring harness (p/n 5089051AB) and have it installed - will it work?
I'm assuming the Uconnect is active because it's talking to me - right?
I'm also under the assumption (by what I've read) that MyGig comes with the Uconnect module in it. Is this correct?
