I had a thought about the Mopar Uconnect kit. If I was to install the Mopar kit but rewire the the connector for the Mopar kit mic/buttons to an oem uconnect mirror, if that would do the same thing?? Could be possible?? My main concern is getting all the same functions from the Mopar kit (82210083) that I would with the oem parts on the MyGig screen (phonebook, Voice Recognition, etc.). A roundabout way to get the same features with the oem look and less wiring.

Sorry for the off-topic, but I really need to buy a U-Connect retrofit kit from the United States, because the dealer from Romania old that it will cost me around 700USD without the installation fees. can you help me with the name of a dealer who can ship this product to romania?

Check with Adam in the sponsor forum and see if he ships to your area. I'm not aware of any that ship there.
