It took me a few weeks, but I finally managed to take some shots of my Black Beauty. Lots of chrome and black wheels as well. There's 24 pics in all.
Sorry about the quality but it's my first time using a digital cam.

Here's the link to the pics in my member's gallery, enjoy.

you've been busy Mike! Your mods look great! I'd like to get some real chrome rims, but they are too expensive, even for me! :D

Thanks all. I really enjoy this truck. I've never had the urge to mod another vehicle I've had, so this is a new experience and I'm enjoying it.

Waldorf, the wheels weren't horribly expensive in the end.
I got them for just under U.S. $200 each. I purposely kept the 17" wheel size so my factory tires would fit on them. I wanted to go up to 20" but then the wheels go up in price and I'd need new tires. THAT would have been pretty pricey.

Thanks Dutch Nitro. I like the chrome on black. I might add a strip on the lower part of the trunk door and then I think that's enough chrome, although...lol.

Meangirl, it's easy as pie to install the sills. The biggest task is cleaning the area beforhand and then rubbing it down with some rubbing alcohol as a final step. After the alcohol dries (pretty fast), just line it up with the upper plastic sill plate. You're actually installing it on the paint below the plastic sill plate, but it's a good way to help you center it.

Trust me, I'm an accountant for a reason, so if I can do it you can do it. Of course, you could always hand it to hubby and say "Here you do it." lol. Let me know if you need any more info.

thanks Mike, I may have a few after they come, I am pretty crafty and very pickie about things being even and straight.

Hubby will not be pleased if he has to do it, he is the reason I got them, he had a rock or something wedged in his big fat shoe so he scratched the hell out of the painted part of the door sill....so I told him I was ordering the plates and they were $110 w/ tax and shipping....needless to say, next time I tell him to check his big fat feet b4 he gets in he will and if not....those headreast dvd's are looking pretty sweet....lol

No problem Meanie, feel free to PM me with more questions. Btw, I won't tell hubby about your big fat shoe comment. lol. Sounds like you were ready to :nunu: him.

NJNitro22. Those are 17 inch rims. My Nitro came with 17 inch rims and tires. I would have liked to have upgraded to 20 inch wheels but then I would have had to replace the tires as well.
