Hey y'all ..Regrettably we won't be making it either . As mentioned in an earlier post we were in the area for camping and cycle races . The rain and fog Friday and the extremely dense fog followed by brief sun then turning to high winds and rain saturday were enough for us, not to mention swarms of no seeums .We broke camp and headed home late afternoon. We are really bumed but sanity must prevail.

OK...Then the meet has been postponed 'till anothe time when we can get a good turn out...I concur. Maybe next time we'll have better weather too.

Agreed ..If we are only having 6 or 7 folks & spouses we can have it here in Inverness and I'll provide food /drinks for a cookout. Suggest any Sunday not conflicting with football .

I'm in for the next one if not during Thunder Beach (motorcycle rally). All other times would be ok. For those of us our here on the edge of the panhandle, we'll have to tack on a few more hours of travel time. A rough guess from my home to Orlando is 6-8 hours. Not a short trip through the woods!

Waldorf according to an earlier post by peon ,the meet was postponed. The major reason ,I believe,was weather. Also fragmented details of exact locations for meeting. It needed better organization. We need to appoint someone to take charge.
So you understand ,the weather was like a spring morning in Scotland. only with dense fog. By Canadian standards it wasn't to shabby but for longtime Floridians it plain sucked .Not much of a day for anything but indoor sports. The weather leading up to it was even worse .As to the future meeting location I think just about anywhere BUT Orlando. The congestion problem there is a matter I don't look forward to enduring. Florida's a big,big place with a lot of picturesque locations and Orlando "AIN'T " one of them. :shakehead:
Granted there are a concentrated amount of Nitro owners there but that's about it. If the next meet is scheduled in Orlando area I can be counted as one NOT to attend.
