I used 5w30 motor oil in my crd because that is what it takes if you have a dpf but I have no idea if it has or not so i used the more expensive stuff to be on the safe side!

what new gaskets are needed!? is there not a drain and level plug in the diffs???
the filler plug is the oil level indicator, to drain the oil, use a oil suction device they are cheap as chips.

dont know if mine has a dpf and as it's the same engine as the dpf one it made sense to go 5-30 instead of 0-40 because it's the same engine and if it has got dpf then it will be better!
weird how front and rear axel are different, is multipurpose 80w90 mineral or synthetic, I have loads of 80w-90 left over from my landrover so I was hoping to use that,
cheers

2 Questions:
I unknowingly bought 1 bottle of Mopar 10 year/150,000 miles along with a 5 year/100,000.
1)Would mixing the 2 cause any issues when I change out the coolant?
2)Both are concentrate, so since the system hold 14Qs, I need 7Qts of distilled water, correct?

Is what you bought HOAT antifreeze? The Nitro requires HOAT antifreeze be used.
I use Zerex G05. MS-9769

Not all Mopar Antifreeze is created equal. Look for MS-9769 or MS-9769G on the bottle. That is the one you should use.

i think the 5 year is HOAT coolant ( orange in colour ), it's a Hybrid which contains organic and inorganic material ( 2000 - 2012 ).

and the 10 year is OAT coolant ( purple in colour ), only contains organic material ( 2013 onwards ).

it should state on the container if they can be mixed together.

See the owners manual.
Owners Manual said:
Mixing of antifreeze/coolant other than the specified HOAT antifreeze/coolant may result in decreased corrosion protection and engine damage.
If a non-HOAT antifreeze/coolant is introduced into the cooling system in an emergency, it should be replaced with the specified antifreeze/coolant as soon as possible.

Owners Manual said:
Adding Engine Coolant:
Your vehicle has been built with an improved antifreeze/ coolant that allows extended maintenance intervals. This antifreeze/coolant can be used up to 5 Years or 100,000 miles before replacement. To prevent reducing this extended maintenance period, it is important that you use the same antifreeze/coolant throughout the life of your vehicle. Please review these recommendations for using Hybrid Organic Additive Technology (HOAT) antifreeze/coolant.

That chart in the 3rd pst lists the wrong transmission for the R/T; at least the earlier ones anyhow. The 07/08 models use the Mercedes NAG1 / WA580 / W5A580 transmission. I'd assume the later models did as well, but i'm not 100%.
