Yeh we have the daytime lights on permanently but we can use the fogs with just the parking lights. You cant use the fogs with the daytime lights though.

I do most of the time now when it's dark. I like how they fill in below the head light beams. When it's not dark out, I always use my head lights but not the fogs.

Fogs and Parking during day and at night both somebody needs to find a way to bipass the switch that kills the fog lights when the Hi beams are on and also has anybody figured out to trick the computer so that you can put a brighter bulb in Fogs with out it shutting down the fogs 1 second after you turn them on

I drive with them on at night, during the day or evening only with the parking lights and fog lights on,
for my canadian fellows, if you wanna have just the fog lights on and the parking markers, pull you hand brake to the first click, it doesn't engage your brake at all!!!

I always drive with my headlights on, regardless of time of day (daytime running lights do not turn on your tail lights). I only ever use my fogs during snow or fog, like you're supposed to

Yeah well i figurede i should put it out there, not manny people think of it!!!!
I have never had them before so I only use them when its foggy! I always thought they were stupid but they do come in handy! And.....putting flame suit on.....I think that people that drive around with the fog lights on and its NOT foggy, well, you know!!!:loser1:

Depends where you live, if i hacve them on during the evening, i use on the park lights, so my headlights go off. But anyways why would you think we are :loser1:
I guess because most of the idiots that live here in California do the dumbest things to their vehicles to get attention. Everyone puts the brightest lights on, jacks their trucks up beyond legal limit So, I am unfairly lumping legitimate use people in with the ignoramuses that light 'em up with no need at all.
Sorry for making lumping in the good people, was talking off the top of my head.....or out something else!
But fog light REALLY do work in the fog!! I like them!

I drive with them on at night along with my headlights. Even if it is not foggy out because I have night blindness and it helps me. It lights up more of the road and cuts some of the glare. So you see some of us have a reason why we use them and we are not as you put them :loser1:. I rather be able to see than risk my life or someone else's.

That is a very valid point! Guess I have become old, cynical and quick to judge of others in my old age! I just always assume people who drive with all their lights on are just trying to annoy other drivers on the road.

Hey BlueJet don't worry about no offense taken.
It is all good.
I hate the fact that I can't see that great at night. I won't travel at night because of it and if I do travel at night someone has to be with me because I concentrate so much on driving that I need someone just to read signs for me.
Like I said before no ofense taken.

I installed HID lights in my FOG lights a while ago and now I always drive with them on. They fill in the area in front of the Nitro out to where the regular low beam headlights illuminate and I prefer them to my high beam lights most of the time. As for the Fogs turning off after one second when a brighter bulb is installed, I only have that problem on the right side Fog and it comes back on after another second (almost all the time).
I really need to make the time to modify my crappy headlight HID kit so it will install correctly.
