Thanks for keeping an eye out Kaleos, although Ryan's right, that's the old style Liberty lights. They wouldn't work on the Nitro. Different shape.

I've been hoping to find some aftermarket led tailights for the Nitro, but I've yet to see anything. I even wrote IPCW, the manufacturer you show in your post a few weeks ago asking if they planned to have anything for the Nitro or the '08 Liberty. I never received a reply. Maybe something will come to market in a few more months.

:rep: for the effort though.

I'd rather my stock lights than those. Thats an old body style Liberty anyway.
yeah ryan, i agree, these aren't too appealing even if i had the liberty i wouln't get them.

thanks jerseynitro for the rep points for looking. i'm always searching the net for something for my nitro and always wanting to let others know what i've found.

Should read the title first guys....

says "found some led tail lights for the jeep liberty but not the dodge nitro"

Goes without saying that they will not fit........
thanks bubba for the support, guess it's one of those issues where if your not in your 40's, you get confused.....:chuckle: just joking ryan and jerseynitro!! i take all conversation friendly and welcome more.

:thk:besides the led lights, i'm also looking for the underhood light, permanent grab bars for the front driver and passenger side, nice sturdy grille guard that won't cost more than my monthly check and some bilstein shocks and struts for my nitro.

thanks again.

I can read very well thank you Bubba. lol. I just took a leap of faith that he was inferring that maybe they could be used on the Nitro. My bad. It's all good though.

As far as the e-mail address for IPCW, I wrote to them at:

[email protected]

I never heard from them though. Let the letter writing campaign start. I'll send them another e-mail myself.

has anyone looked into whether or not the tail light from a european nitro will fit and work on a north american version? they look to be the same fit but with a different look.

US version: http://www.car-wallpapers.ws/dodge-nitro/Dodge_nitro_01-1024.jpg

EU version: http://www.channel4.com/4car/gl/dodge/nitro/9519/4

if you look closely the turn signals are yellow and set together with the reverse lights in the middle of the the euro ones. where as the US ones have red turn signals and the reverse lights are at the bottom of the tail light. heres a better pic of the euro ones that show better detail:

i know they arent what everyone is looking for cause theyre not led tail lights but they would make your nitro stand out from the rest of the pack :D

I agree Jason. I'm waiting on lights that stand out. The led's are nice, but it's the same design with LED's inside.
I'm wanting to smoke my rear lenses. That's way too much red back there ... I mean the lenses are huge!

IF I get mine smoked, I still want the red to reflect through the smoke, and I want the lights to be seen well by other drivers. I like the euro ones (which are very similar to the US Jeep product tail lights), and wonder if we could get those shipped to the US for a reasonable price???

As far as LED ... sure, that would be cool, but not round ... that belongs with the Liberty and the Durango.

Thanks for checking, Jason!

It would be nice to know if they fit the same as the North American version, and if the connectors (mechanical AND electrical) are the same!

Wonder how much SHIPPING would cost!!! Yikes!
