Anyone put one of these one your Nitro yet? I'm thinking about it and was wondering how everyone likes it? I think it would look pretty cool on a black Nitro. Pro's and Con's? Comments or Opinions?

Here's what I'm talking about

Anyone have pics of one on a Nitro?

Thanks

hey WB, I too like the look, but am scared as to what type of damage it would do to the paint, I knew ppl in the past that put the "bra" on vehicle and the paint under was damaged from rub and the colors were off from sun and element damage to the uncovered.

Yeah my concerns are - water, Washing or rain. Would it collect underneath and cause damage long term?
Second, UV. If the cover is left on over time will I see a difference in the paint where the cover was?
Third, scratching. Does it scratch the surface over time?

I had one on a Saab and a mini van and you do have to be careful they can scratch, and I took it off frequently to let the paint air out and I always waxed the hood very well :thk:
I agree with dk ... they do scratch, and leaves and other debris can get in there. Way back, when I had a Honda Qualude, I once was driving on the highway in a wicked wind storm, and one of the tabs came loose ... paint took a beating. I'm considering the 3M treatment instead.
