Why does my nitro not have one?? Is everyone missing a handle for the front right passenger? Most cars even have them on the drivers side these days.. Could I install one?

I really hope that they put one in the new models! That was the one thing that I never really paid attention to. My poor mom has a really hard time getting in without it!

yea it is very strange that there is no passenger assist handle. But, since im not the one riding in that seat, I could care less. If my friends have a problem, they can walk:wave: . Considering that most of them cant drive yet, im sure they wont care, let alone even notice.

haha im glad that someone has some confidence in me. Actually I feel very confident (but not too confident). Ive had my permit for 10 months so I have had the chance to drive in every condition possible. Although I am still a little nervous about the test tmr.

It doesnt look like its gonna work. The handles have a depression behind them. Probably noting to bolt em to either. Anyone know if they can be installed??

I was pretty disappointed with this omission, too. It was bad enough that Dodge always put it on the A-pillar (more to assist entry than as an oh-**** handle), but not having one at all is inexcusable. Thanks Mercedes!

There should be one on the A-pillar and one above the door, and one on the driver's side would be nice, too.

I had to search a bit to find this post. My pregnant wife voiced the same issue with the lack of the "oh sh*t" handle. The only thing to reach for is the door handle which would REALLY be an "oh sh*t" handle!
