Hey guys. New here. I have a 2008 dodge nitro 3.7 SLT. So here's what's happening. I have to turn the key to on position 3 to 4 times for fuel pump to kick on. If I don't it kinda sounds like the starter sticking when I completely crank it.

the relay for the fuel pump is internal to the TIPM, it is not a replacment item (replace TIPM), BUT there is a fuel pump relay bypass cable available on ebay

The bypass cable is not for permanent use, as far as i am informed.

If the defective relay is bypassed the higher voltage and more amperes is routed over low voltage joints. I am not totally sure, but it makes sense NOT TO BRIDGE PERMANENTLY the TIPM internal relay.

The ebay module can be used as a diagnostic tool detecting a defective TIPM relay.
