I meet my girlfriend tonight at Starbucks here in New York actually the New Hyde Park store. When I pulled into the parking lot I saw another Nitro. So I parked next to this gentlemen. We started a conversation and discuss our Nitro's. I must say this guy was really nice. In fact we both got our Nitro's at the same dealerships so we exchanged horror stories. So towards the end of the converstation I told him about our great site. I am going to have to start carrying around the flyers for the website in my Nitro. I told him to check out our site.

I sure hope he does. He had an Inferno Red SXT. So I hope he reads this and contacts me again.

This is not the first time I had meet someone else with a Nitro. I had gone to work and gotten gas. I was facing the wrong way and drove around the pump and there to my left was another Nitro. Stone White told this gentlemen about the site as well. Don't know if he ever check us out. I sure hope he did. He was having problems with his wipers and told him to check out the site because there was a recall for them.

So you see I have meet two other Nitro owners around the area. Now meaning tomorrow I am going to bring in the flyer to work and photo stat a bunch so I can keep them with me to hand out when I meet other Nitro owners.

To sum up let me just say the two people I have meet were very nice very friendly. Shook hands and I wished them all the best with their Nitro's. I hope other people have stories like these who can post them.

Oh by the way Nitro owners are the coolest people around...

I think many of us have stories such as those! Can you imagine two owners of Ford Escape's doing that? I don't think so! My luck though, when I met some peaople a few months ago at the theatres, parked my Nitro right next to their orange one, I found out they were already members of the forum. When I showed them my LED lights under the dash, they said, "OH yeah, I saw the pictures on the website, was that you?".

Yeh I stopped and talked to a guy and his wife a few weeks ago. We chatted and I left him with a referral slip but no sign of him yet.
Even the wife has been chatting to people. She got stopped by a guy who was interested in the Nitro and she mentioned the site but once again no news of him yet.

Thats Great Andy! Your out there spreading the word! I had mentioned in another thread that I had talked to 3 owners a few weeks ago now but none have joined that I have seen. Personal contact with the referral seemed to be the best but we can get them all ( we can try!) I will keep preaching the forumz gospel :smileup:

2 Kool! I met a fellow in the business park where I went to pick up a piece of new furniture. Tracked him down and invited him but I don't believe he's been spotted here yet...unfortunately everyone we meet won't join for one reason or another...but I hope they at least check us out and that's the main thing...letting others know they have a friendly & helpful place they can visit.
I have seen very few Nitro's around this area...only about three or four that I can think of and mostly they are headed the opposite direction on the freeway. But I did meet up with KenCary the other day and that was nice. See Y'all after the show & shine saturday!:4-sunshine:

I agree, good job so far! I've been handing out those referrals, even gave a stack to my dealer and to my alarm installer!
