Looks good.
Thanks heartlessG, The pics of the Katzkin seats don't really do them justice, they're so much better looking in person. the interior of the Nitro reaaaaally needs dressing up (shame on DCX)! I even emailed them to become a sponsor here! They said they would be in the next month or so. We'll see!;)

I knew the billet door locks would be a hit, I'm just waiting for Billet Technology to get their butts in gear, and start making Nitro goodies, because the interior of the Nitro reaaaaaly needs dressing up (shame on DCX)! Looks really great.

IMO it is worth paying an expert to put these in. I had to take mine back to the shop one time for some adustements. In my case the dealer arranged the install so the are covered by my warranty.

You're absolutely right Ken, I know my limits. Although if I really tried, I could do it myself:D. BTW, I wanted to let everyone know, they are sending me out a brand new wheel skin, free!

LS,

Thanks for the . I was wondering where you been at buddy, thought you sold the Nitro or something! My seats are Dark Graphite/Lt.Grey, I knew what I was going to do the first day I got the Nitro. I been waiting for you to post some pics, I know I read you correctly that you were getting the Katz. I was bummed about the steering wheel skin being totally off, but it's getting replaced.

You seats look similar to mine-- solid outer, perf inner.

I noticed that your front seats have the Katzkin logo on them. Mine are clearly Katzkin but they don't have the logo. I ordered mine via the dealer, I wonder if Katzkin does not use the logo for dealer-option versions.

I like those door locks too! :rep:
where did you get them?
Thanks Waldorf, I could use some rep points around here!:p I got the locks from the local AutoZone, $14.99.

What LilSalmon said Ken... the logo is a $49.99 (+2) option.

That is some nice leather guys! If you don't mind me asking..... How much does the Katskin leather cost? Also do all dealer have this option?
f4kev, each kit varies in price. They have standard & premium. Standard will have 70/30 (leather/vinyl), which is what I have. The premium, is 100% leather. Most people choose 70/30 for durability reasons. Just Google Katzkin leather kits for a online reseller, which should have the prices of the kits. I personally paid $1218.00 shipped. But I also opted to have heated seats added.

Can you put them on yourself or does a specialized shop have to put them on?
You can definitely attempt to DIY Dukes! It's very time consuming though, and not for the faint of heart. I think YouTube should have a few installation video's . If not, there are video's available on the www. Try even Google for Katzkin installations.;) Ultimately, a pro shop should do the work!

I'd have to second NB's comments. You can order the kit without installation but you really only end up saving a few hunder bucks but not having it professionally installed. The basic kits are like 700 to 800 without install. I am having them done with suede perforated inserts, embroidery, with the seat heaters all installed for around 1300.00. Plus if they install it they usually guarentee thier work if its a good shop.

Hey Lil, what's the name of the place doing the install... sounds like they have very good prices! I paid $1218.00 for everything, minus the install which was another $400.00

Seats look great. Wonder why they even released the steering wheel from quality control.....
I wish I knew DC, I was thinking the same thing.
