Hi folks.

I was wondering those of you that have done the lower grille mod -

1. Did you notice problems with ice / sludge build up before doing it - you know that open area in the bumper with the visible lower radiator?

2. Did mod'ing and putting in the lower grille affect your airflow, or heating?

Considering the mod - but with winter coming, wondering about doing it soon or waiting.

haven't noticed anything yet, but it hasn't snowed here yet and we don't really get too much snow this far from Buffalo, but I bet DK get's a lot!!!!

Yes we can but I don't have the mod, I wouldn't think it would be a problem , I would hear form those that have side steps/running boards I found them to be slush catchers on the jeeps I had, I would like them tho

I put in a homemade mesh lower grill. No effect on heating. The grill material I used is quite open.
