Thanks for your update. Mine has been sixteen days since the new battery and it's been perfectly normal ever since.

Can vouch for the battery ,a while after topping up the water ,lights on , no issues since.Think the battery had to return to its normal amperage first.

thanks for the update, a low battery does cause several problems on the Nitro, but would have never thought it would cause problems with the headlights. well done with your fix, great info.

Anyways I'm having the same issue with no lights. Figured it to be moisture in the TIPM, my question is: is there any way to keep the moisture out? Has anyone fixed the unit somehow??

I am having the exact same problem on a 2008 Nitro.
I'm willing to try anything next to the expensive TIPM replacement. Any new suggestions or updates?

Hey I have a 2008 Nitro. Left the spot this evening and went across a speed bump, lights shut off. Try turning them back on and they will blink two or three tim w then shut off. What am I missing here about these Dodges
