Welcome, SilentDrum71 -- and wow, what is that tag about? Drums? What kind of drums what kind of music? If I were coordinated enough, I SWEAR I would've been a drummer!
Welcome to the forum and glad to have you. I am also curious about the drums and would love to see some pictures of your Nitro.
I tried out for drums in school back in the day entering sixth grade (the first year we could play an instrument) but didn't make it

. Instead I ended up playing the trumpet all through middle school and high school and in my high school's marching band

. I don't get a chance that often so I will brag a little I went to Broken Arrow and I was in their marching band called "The Pride Of Broken Arrow, The Grandest Band In All The Land" who have won numerous awards including - 27 time state finalist (every year attended) , 15 time state champion (6 in a row now, has never finished below second), 11 time regional finalist (never finished lower than fourth), 5 time regional champion, 3 time super regional finalist (only three attended, never below second), super regional champion, 6 time national finalist (12th, 10th, 10th, 7th, 6th, and 1st out of 100 bands across the U.S.), and national champion in 2006 (setting the highest score ever recorded for a Bands Of America event with 96.75) all while marching for the Presidential Inaguration of Bill Clinton in 1993 and George W Bush in 2005. I graduated in 2003 and my wife that I met in "The Pride" graduated in 2006.
So now you guys know you can't mention band or music around me and you have got to know me a little. I sound like a total band nerd don't I? :loser1:
PS MeanGirl those Texas bands were awesome I think they took six of the twelve spots at Nationals. If anybody is from Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Florida, Michigan and Georgia your bands rocked also.
