Just wanted to say hey to everyone. I don't own one yet. I gotta sell my srt4 first. Some of you may remember me from other sites that I frequent. I try to help those with aftermarket stuff like alarms and remote starters since I own a shop. Hopefully soon I'll get one of these and get to perform surgery on it.

Yep. Found a 2007 silver RT with everything sans the Mygig thing. I got the dealer down to 27k but it's not the end of the month yet Gotta see how much more they'll go. I am being reserved though more so this buy than all the others I've done. It's hard for me to think of paying this much for a vehicle especially because of how easy newer vehicles tend to rust. Before the srt4 I had a Liberty. It started rusting from the inside out where the body seams were. It only had about 50k miles on it. Also, the MPG on that Jeep was horrid and I've seen that the MPG on these things may be a little over rated. I drive about 20k a year so it adds up in a hurry.

ponchonutty, I have MyGIG. The best thing about it is the navigation. There are other units, some listed on here, that give you virtually the same benefits. So if that silver jewel has everything else you want, just go for it.

Mileage wise in an R/T. As long as you don't spend every other minute stopping for a red light, you should get around 17 mpg in town. They will get 23 mpg on the highway. You will have to make an effort to drive this vehicle in a way to get this kind of mileage. Try to keep it under 3000 rpm and such.

Yes I realize driving habits affect things alot. I just don't want to end up like things were when I had my Jeep Liberty with the 3.7L. When I first got it it averaged about 10mpg combined. After some mileage and the addition of a K&N intake it went up to about 16-18 combined.

I completely understand. I had an '03 Liberty Limited 4WD. I got about 14.8 around town in it.

The 4.0L with the 5 speed is better than that in every respect.
