·Hi all. Wife nagged me to death about buying a Nitro for her. I wasnt difficult to see why she likes it so much, totally her style of bold hip styling.
I wasnt up to it cause her current vehicle, 02 gmc envoy, was over under by $2k and payments were going to jump way up but already the vehicle was losing value fast and our 2 kids were seriously putting in lots of wear and tear on it. i was up to it and last nite i made it happen.
the $2k off incentives help a bit and trading in the 02 envoy was barely ok. i just hate how salesmen change the numbers and all the bs they put you up. the thing that surprised me and almost made me walk off, which i usually do, i dont mess around, i just get up and leave. they said the incintives were expired and no longer available when yesterday before i went to the dealer i clearly saw on the dodge website the incintives were still valid till midnight nov 5. i got them to drop $2k on the 07 we were looking at.
im just happy my wife is happy (happy b-day to her) and i can get on with customizing my 02 dodge quad cab i finished paying off a month ago. weird how i got this $32k quad cab ram truck with 0 percent financing while i had nearly bend over for this $20k truck, even with good credit and $2k down, my payments are now $70/month more for the 02 slt nitro (stone white with package f) than the envoy we had. so its cool, the envoy had 67k miles and had hints of mechanical and electrical issues and so i didnt want to chance it.
now looking for nicer rims than the 20 inch eom ones, cuz those werent worth the $1600. also tint the windows, dvd/tv entertainment, etc......:shakehead:
