Picked up a white R/T a week ago Thursday. I was looking for another mid-life crisis solution (also have a Yamaha Venture MC) and this fit the bill. Actually, I have been eyeing the Nitro since they came out. My wife also thought they were pretty cool.

We had to go away right after we picked it for a funeral in the family, so managed to put on 3,000 km this week. I must say, I love it. We got it with MYGIG, leather interior, etc., etc.

After one week, we decided we need to add running boards or nerf bars. I wish someone made them with the same white powder coat and black steps. If anyone knows who makes these, please let me know.

Welcome, right on, another local Nitro. Not sure where you bought it, but Capital Dodge seems to be the dealer of choice for service.

I get my 08 White 4x4 R/T Monday. I too got the Black Leather, MyGig/Nav/UC w/ Bass Spkr Package (+++).

It will be interesting to see what mods you do, and I will keep you up to date on mine. First thing on my list is the Hood Struts. I will research the "Running booards and report back.

A "White Nitro Brother" in Canada. We will be talking, as I also collect Canadian Coinage so you will see some PM's.

That is where I got it. I would love to get service done there, but I am in Orleans, the other end of the city. It is a bit of a pain to get out there. I had a bad experience at the Orlenas dealership, so I am not sure I can take it there.

I absol;utely love the sound system. The subwoofer can really rock your soul. Can't play it as loud as I like when the better half is in the car, but I manage to get out on my own a lot.

I don't know how much I will mod. Most will be convenience. I plan to mod the motorcycle more. More chrome makes it go faster, so I need to add more. The bike is black and the chrome looks awesome on it. I find that chrome on white kind of gets lost. I saw a set of boards (Romik) that I kind of like. If I cannot get white, then I will go with black.

I will keep looking first, before I decide.

I also am fairly local to you...I live just outside of Merrickville and work in Kanata. Have my daughter living in Orleans and my in-laws in Rockland! :chuckle:

I bought my Nitro at Southbank Dodge...great for prices but lousy for service, just so you are forewarned. I also have switched to Capital Dodge for my service, and I highly recommend them. :Racing:
