·Just wanted to say hello. I'm a fixed ops director for a Dodge Dealership and was wondering are any of you all having issues with transmission shifting problems or shudders?:4-jump2:

Hey there FIXED OPS DIRECTOR. I had shudders at first but it went in to the dealership and they replaced the torque convertor and did a flash. It's better but never seems to run smooth even on the expressway which has a good road surface. It sometimes seems to be missing or not firing on all six, only for a split second or two then it's ok again.
Also when I accelerate hard, the shift from first to second can be harsh at times. Under normal driving it is fine.

Welcome to the forum Fixed Ops Director. It'll be interesting to see what kind of impact you can make. I have the SLT w/ AT & it has the 25 - 30 mph trans shudder. I've told my dealer about the issue, they reflashed the ECM in April, and we've talked about the torque converter replacement. At this point it appears to both of us that the torque converter replacement is a way to quiet a noisy customer & typically does not fix much of anything. I don't feel like the shudder is that big a problem in my Nitro so I'm living with it..... with the recommendation that I check back with them regularly to see what Dodge is doing about the problem.
Meanwhile I drive it regularly & tow boats & ATVs with it with no problems other than a very small vibration at low speed at certain RPMs. As the end of the warranty gets closer (only 11k now), I'll be more adamant about a fix.

Just wanted to welcome you to the site. Plus I wanted to say this site is the best. The people on here are the greatest. Everyone helps if they can and even some of us you can vent to. We understand and welcome you to post any and all concerns no matter how big or small.
