Bought my 2011 nitro heat at auction not knowing that previous owner ripped out the sub and amp cutting the wires. Can't find correct wiring diagram at amp. I looked on ebay and found that chrysler used the same amp on differnt years and models. Found a replacement amp in an 05 dodge caravan. Part numbers matched so figured was good to go. Also got it with the wires. I know colors wont match up but trying to match pinouts to existing wiring. The amp diagram on here doesnt match the amount of pins i have. For starters pin 1 says ground but on harness ground is clearly on other end of connector.

Welcome to the forum tripingeorge3. When you have a chance, head over to the Newbie Section and say "Hi".
Tell us a little about yourself and your ride.
That way we can welcome you all proper like.

In 05 they used a slow CAN BUS network. In 07+ they went to a high speed CAN. If the Amp is low speed it will not work in the Nitro.

What is the part # on the Amp? I may be able to look it up.

Turns out wrong amp. Slow can bus. Figured id get a radio from a nitro without the factory amp and just put in regular panel in place of sub panel. Found an 07 nitro slt at junkyard. Had no sub and no factory amp in right rear. Thought i was good to go. Added plus was this radio had dvd and 6 disk changer. Hooked it up and i still have no volume control. I have to finish this stereo tonight. Could the 07 have had an amp in a different location? I even to took the factory radio harness from the parts nitro. The wires in the plug are in exact same location as my 11 nitro's plug harness. Now im stuck.

All year OEM Amps and subs are in the RR quarter panel.
The problem is the factory harness from the original install has all the speaker wires coming from the amp going to the speakers.
Only thing coming out of the HU (RR and LR) goes to the amp.
This is what I have for the 2011 Amp connections, but you will still need the plugs and Amp.
You could try making jumpers to go out to the speakers. bypassing the Amp. but odds are you will only get pre-amp volume levels and only rear speaker control. IE no fade front to rear.
Wires will be in the RR quarter panel.
