New to this site.. Must say mostof it being very informative... I jsut bought a Nitro RT today.. I have a 6 hours drive to get it and will be leaving tommorow.. I got it loaded up except the mygig.. I have heard nothing good about the my gig except the mass probelms that arrise from it .. I hear they are on back order and custom ordered Nitro's could take up to four months to get from March 5th.. that would be a August truck and I wnated mine now.. I odrdered mine and it came in 6 weeks... I am pretty pumped to go get it.. I will post pictures of it when I return..

besides that DCX pretty much got screwed by the manufacturer of the MyGiG and it was a late availability (same as the R/T was.) which did cause some poeple to get angry.

My GIG

Well besides not getting it when you order... the dealer installed version is toally different.. Not al the same options as you don't have the mirror with the mic... you don't get the 100,000 words that it is supposed to know.. and there are on board problems with the communications device that replay back to your on obard cpu... To me too much off and butts... and I dont need my vehicle in the shop for months on ends trying toget something to work.. It;s new and they should work... I just went with the upgraded in dash 6 pack cd/mp3.. You can hook your eyepod up to it and if you reall want a nav system you can get one installed for allot less than 1800.00

From your post it sounded like you were talking about the factory installed unit.............
