I will be signing the papers to get my Nitro tomarrow. Before I do the actual signing, I would like to know if anyone can tell me problems they might of had. Also, if someone would have any suggestions to either buy it or not, i would love to hear their suggestions. Please tell me of any major problems.

Good to have you here! I have not had any problems but some have you can search the threads , Transmission ,stalling and A/C seem to be the big ones, check the manufacturing date on the sticker on the drivers door frame the ones that seem to be most effected were made before Jan 1st I believe, Good Luck you picked the right color! Hey mcscooby44, well as dk1677 said the main issues are
1 - the transmission can be a bit lumpy (there is a flash update for that and sometimes the torque convertor has to be replaced). Mine had this but is fine now. see - http://www.nitroforumz.com/showthread.php?t=796&highlight=transmission
2 - The stalling issue. That is fixed with a recent recall. Make sure the model you are buying has been updated. see - http://www.nitroforumz.com/showthread.php?t=18
3 - The A/C problem doesn't affect all Nitros. Some say it's bad some not. Mine is fine. see - http://www.nitroforumz.com/showthread.php?t=3077&highlight=conditioner

I hope this is of use to you seeing as you are going to buy your Nitro tomorrow.
As for buying the Nitro all I can say is...if you don't want people staring at you as you drive by, if you don't want to be different, if you don't want to drive the coolest truck on the road, then don't buy the Nitro.

I bought my R/T on February 5, and I have had no problems whatever. I am completely satisfied with my Nitro.

I searched and test drove all the mid-sized SUV's and this is the best combination of fun, styling value and gee-whiz factor.

No problems with mine. I bought the SXT so that I could get the 6 speed. A very nice tranny and it makes the Nitro feel quite different than the 4 speed auto.

I sure do hope you get the Orange Nitro. The best Color out there.
