First I hope all the problems everyone is having in here get fixed where they can just enjoy their new truck. Just orderd mine yesterday and after reading all this i'm praying they know about all these problems before building more and correct them at the factory. I know, its wishfull thinking

The truck is beautiful, just wondering if its worth all the problems now. I hope you can all soon, enjoy the beauty of this truck without the problems.

Hi! I really hope for your sake that the truck you get does not have any of these issues, but to be honest with you if I knew now what I did not know then I would have stayed with my Honda Element. I did love my Nitro and I think it is going to be a while before I have that warm fuzzy feeling again, they think they fixed my car stalling issue but only time will tell I guess.

I know what your saying and i hope they fixed your truck for you. I went to other forums such as jeep liberty and other similar trucks and their also having their share of problems. there are also a lot of people with nitros having no problems at all. Im just hoping they are fixing the simple things in the factory as they learn them, like the shifting in the trans etc. Again i hope they bring back that warm fuzzy feeling again so you can enjoy your truck....in the mean time keeping my fingers crossed on mine

I went to the Honda Elament forum as well, take a look at the problems ans issues their having as well. I'm sure as they sell more and more nitros there will be other problems comnig up as well. but i decided since they all have problems i rather have problems with a nitro then any other truck out there right now:beerchug:

Mine was a 2004. The only issues around at that time was if the windshield got a chip in it it would crack. I never had any problems with my honda's and have owned 2 caravans, and my nitro. Caravans were ok, first one was fine, second one leaked tranny fliud 3 days after getting it home and now this. I know all cars can have bugs but I am just sad because I REALLY wanted this car, I fell in love with it at first sight and on test drive and now I am regretful. Went to get hubby from work and now it is acting up again..... I am going to wait another week and see how it does and if I need to bring it back for a third time. I'd hate to do that but if I have to I am going to try to get out of this lease and file lemon law and get another car. I drive this car 90% of the time with my 5 yr old in it and I do not feel safe anymore.

i wish you all the luck in the world and hope they can get it fixed for you. after all you should be able to enjoy your truck not to mention feel safe in it with your family. i would not feel safe as well if it stalled on me like that.

I got my Nitro on January 25,2007. I have no problems with my Nitro at all. Only problem is when the speakers are turn up to around 20 I hear a vibration around the driver/pass door. Not a huge problem because only happens when I have it up all the way...

I think there is a service buliten, TSB, on that issue, you can likely find it on this site or see your dealer!

Iv'e read some of your posts before, I'm sorry you are still having issues!

I was wondering, have you been to more than one dealer?

I have found that when repairing one problem, a mechanic may create another (one way or another), making it seem like the car is a lemon, when it's actually the mechanic at fault.

Hubby will not take it to another dealer to have it worked on. I told him that we should but it goes back to a ford escort I had once and took it to the place we got it from, they only made matters worse so we took it to the closest ford dealership around here, and they fixed it but charged us for the work because it was not where we bought the car from so he is paranoid to have that happen again because we only have his income nad this is our only car. Not all of the Dodge dealerships around here have plenty of loaner cars for people to use, the one we take this car too has plenty and we can always get a loaner car, the second closest one only has like 5 loaner cars and you can never get one. We pitched a fit when we had our caravan and it needed repairs and after we were told we could get a loaner and we get there they had none and we yelled at them and they finaly gave us one of the dealers cars to drive. I think we just have to live with the fact that this car just does not feel right when it drives as long as it does not die on us again. If that should happen then it goes back to the dealership to see if it can be fixed one more time and if we can get then to get us out of the lease for this and into a better car.
