How to clean fingerprints from MyGig screen

I have some alcohol wipes I got for my digital camera. Is this safe to use on the MyGig monitor as well? Sorry if this is a repeat, I have read many of these threads and haven't come across an answer for this yet. Thanks

i purchased one of the screen protectors that are available on ebay

this protects the screen from finger prints and scratches, and also allows you to clean the protector that is on the screen by spraying alittle windex on a paper towel then just wiping it off, but i dont have to do this very often as the screen protector pretty much emiminates finger prints

Hrmm...that sounds like a wise idea. I wasn't aware they had those. Thanks, Bob.

:thk: meanwhile, I'm still going to need to get this screen cleaned off.
According to the manual:
"Do not spray any liquid or caustic chemicals directly on the screen! Use a clean and dry micro fiber lens cleaning cloth in order to clean the touch screen.
If necessary, use a lint-free cloth dampened with cleaning solution, such as isopropyl alcohol, or an isopropyl alcohol and water solution ratio of 50:50. Be sure to follow solvent manufacturer's precautions and directions."
Sounds like if it's safe to use on eyeglasses, it should be safe here too! :Banana01:

I really appreciate you looking that up for me, F45. :) Thanks so much. My dealer ordered a manual for me yesterday(it will be sent to my home). Hopefully it won't take to long to get here so I don't have to bug you guys. :shy:

Also, thanks to NitroWife and DCX for the tips. I'll look for those cloths this afternoon!
