New Nitro Owner here....well I actually don't pick it up until next week, but anyway!
2008, SXT w/ alot of the SLT options, (dealer ordered package; color matched bumpers and fender flares, Sirus radio, 17" wheels etc, I didn't want the load-n-go anyway)

I am excited.
Thank you to all who have posted positive reviews here. I had already made my decision, and then came across the Consumer Reports, which was not encouraging, and kind of got dis-heartened. Now I am back in the fold.

well we are glad you did not let "the bad people" change your mind about the nitro....we are not fans of them! so hang out with us until the nitro comes and learn all there is to learn!!!

Welcome to the forum MetroNitro. I think you'll enjoy your new ride once it comes in from the factory. In the meantime, look around for ideas about mods and don't be afraid to ask questions. There are a lot of helpful, very knowledgeable people here.

I hate those reports, everyone has an opinion! At least here you will hear both the good and the bad...with solutions! Not the all negative stuff reporters who drive the Nitro for 5 minutes write!:shakehead: I hope you find the forum informative and fun! Enjoy your new ride!

Welcome to the forum - so far I haven't had any problems with the Nitro and we love every minute of it. I guess everybody is entitled to their own opionion and besides no machine is not going to have mechanical problems and human error can't be taken out of the equation either when they are assembled. Luckily they make warranties.
