IMO the 3.7 is just a rough engine. I've been in several kj liberties that are awful. I was pleasently surprised though when I test drove the nitro it was very smooth with only a barely noticable shake every few seconds. Maybe the folks with their liberties just hadn't changed the plugs I don't know. The 3.7 does require them every 30,000mi. and only use copper plugs or ngk v-power plugs (OEM). I just used the autolite coppers since that's all I could find in my area. They work fine.

No I don't believe E3 are "copper" plugs. I havn't heard many good things about the E3s except in small engines (lawn equipment). And many report worse fuel milage with premium plugs in our 3.7l nitros.

I have an 07 SXT and the exact same problem! it idles so rough and it's definitely noticeable especially for passenger front seat. We had it to the dealer for regular maintenance - oil change, tune-up, etc. and they said they couldn't find a problem. I hate sitting at stop light as it idles so rough I'm sure other drivers could notice me shaking! very frustrating, too!:confused:
I have the same problem did you get it fix yet

I have the same problem when she warms up the vibration mostly on the passengers side when stopped at idle. Sometimes she vibrates more than other times. I have had the whole engine rebuilt , sensors, plugs, coils you name it still no improvement. Anyone had issues with the ecu I am starting to think it might be Electrical!!

I used to notice a little shutter for like three seconds at idle. Had spark plugs changed at 100k, didn’t make a difference. I changed out that evap valve ($20) located on the rear drivers side below the fuel tube to the tank. That definitely helped, along with a better throttle response. Lastly I added a few ounces of Lucas injector cleaner/stabilizer to two tank full so far. I haven’t noticed any shuttering since then.
