Inferno Red Nitro R/T 4x4 Photos of running boards (Side Steps)

I was asked to post some photos showing the Dodge running boards (Black Tubular Side Steps) that I had installed on my Nitro R/T.

That is correct, the official description from Dodge is Black Tubular Side Steps.

I'm loving the side steps. I plan on getting the rear deflector, inferno red interior applique and some other things inside, but I never thought the side steps would look SOOO SWEET!!! Thanks for the killer idear!!!:thk:

do you find that your running boards are more aesthetic than functional?

medicguy, for me I am over 6' tall so I do not use the running boards except to dry the roof after washing the car. However, my wife and daughter do use the running boards.

I would love to get some but where I live they are a frozen slush catcher in the winter( Had them on a 96 Grand Cherokee then on a 99 I tried the steps mounted to the rocker panels and they we not much better here where winter lasts 6 months. ld:

Here is a quick pictures of actual running boards for your reference. I know the pictures earlier are of the "step rails", so just in case you wanted to see the difference.

Not great pictures, but I have only had it for 2 days and it was 9PM when I picked it up and it rained all day yesterday.
