Hey Forumz :)

I recently swapped to a 10.2" Android Headunit, coming from a Kenwood DNX5190DABS.
I also already had the whole cable-canbus adapter mounted, so my Infinity soundsystem and the OEM Infinity Amp would work.

With the Kenwood HU everything worked well, but now i lost the Subwoofer? :ROFLMAO: All Speakers and tweeters are working just fine and "powerful" as usual, just the Sub is completely dead.

Do you guys have an idea what that could be?

To be honest, i just ordered an external 2-Channel Amp and a Alpine 8 Inch replacement Sub for the original Infinity-Sub compartment, but i am extremely curious and somehow it causes me sleepless nights when something in this car is not working, just after a whole Automatic Transmission rebuild and deleting the Alarm via DiagFCA, because it goes nuts from time to time.

Thank you so much in advance and have a great day!

If your alarm is behaving oddly you could have an electrical fault, and it may not be the only module affected.
Thanks for your quick reply!
You're 100% right. Until now i couldnt find any other systems which do not work nor does the DiagFCA give me any other faults. I think it might be the boot-lock or something. I will dig deeper into that.
But the Subwoofer is still working with the old Kenwood Headunit. It is like a wiring issue, but i cant find any issues there, since all the other speakers work.

Weird.

You may have already done so, but I have seen some of the aftermarket android head units not supply the proper 12v turn on for the amp. You could try connecting amp turn on wire from your adapter to the acc/key 12v wire. That would guarantee your getting the voltage to turn on your amplifier.

there is no ignition feed to switch the Amp on/off, the Amp has a constant 12v supply and is switched on/off with a CANbus signal

after looking at the wiring diagrams, you have either got a couple of wires crossed or the headunit is faulty,
if for any reason the sub was automatically shut down by the Amp or the TIPM when wiring (especialy if you where working with the battery connected ),
you could try a vehicle computer reset :
disconect NEGative battery terminal for 10 mins then reconnect (sometimes this does solve an issue ) but it aint MagiC,
i see you have the export Nitro,
just in case you didn't know, the alarm has several parts, interior transmitter and receiver etc, but the 2 main parts, 1 part is intergrated into the TIPM and the other is an alarm module, which sits on the front right inner chassis leg (kind of under the rear of the right headlight) this alarm module has its own 12v battery (in case someone disconnects the main battery) could this be part of the alarm issue, battery could have issues after all this time, there is also an additional switch on the hood slam panel which tells the TIPM / Alarm if someone opens the hood,
