Well I got board this weekend, my wife was baby setting some children of a lady she works with over the weekend and I decided to put a sub in the nitro. I had gotten two 10” solo barics and a Kicker wiring kit awhile back to glass a box in the nitro but have not had time for that kind of work and I had a 750.1 that I took out of my truck that I traded in when I got the Nitro. All it ended up costing me was a sheet of MDF, some brads and two cans of textured paint. I had been pondering over the idea of getting one of my buddies at kicker to get me a box but all there boxes are tuned high. So I built this bad boy tuned at 32Hz. I have always wanted to build a box that low. I also have the sub wired up at 4Ohm so the load on the amp is really low, very efficient and cents the box is tuned so low that power is about right for the low back presser on the drive motor in the woofer.

Temp amp install I am wanting to add a amp for some new highs later so I just did a temp amp install I didn’t want any non necessary holds in anything.

1/0 gauge power and ground wire ran for future upgrades

Where I ran the 1/0 power wire. I found a none used rubber grommet on the driver side worked great.

New battery and cable attached.

It is looking good! Are you not worried about losing cargo space in the back?
Yes I am that is why I have not done a glassed box yet I want to order the back d panel without the stock sub. The cheapest I have found it is 320 without shipping. I want to do that so I can glass in two 10’s and make the box to where it does not take up any room like yours. I just made this because it is summer and I needed some tunes. And only two screws and I can leave it behind if I need to.

Very nice! When I was at our local Dodge dealer last Saturday, they had a tricked out Calibre out front with the stereo blasting. It's a complex with 12 different dealerships and you could hear the stereo blasting over the entire thing. What I thought was neat was that they had the subs flip down from the tailgate. When the tailgate was closed, the speakers faced the driver, but when opened, the speakers flipped down to face outside. A very cool way to save the cargo space.
