I am installing a battery cut-off switch on my 2007 Nitro. From reading various posts regarding the electrical system some have noted that when disconnecting the battery or TIPM module, the Negative side of the battery should be disconnected first as best practice to lower the probability of causing computer glitches. If this is the case shouldn't the battery cut-off switch be installed in the negative power-feed cable not the positive cable?
Thanks for your input.
