Aloha,

I am deployed to a less than zesty part of the world and consequently have a very un-zesty connection. SO browsing these hallowed threads is hard...

Here is my conundrum...

07 Nitro R/T. Love my overgrown bigger than life Matchbox car (err truck!)

I would like to upgrade intake/exhaust.. eventually the chip and add some other exterior items.

I have seen a lot of stuff on the market, but being a n00b gear head I do not know if having a 4.0 vs a 3.7 makes a diff in relation to these types of parts.

Does it make a difference?

If so, please can some one point me in a very specific direction (url) for 4.0 compatible parts?

Thank you and aloha.

Well for starters the 3.7L and 4.0L engines, respectively, are very different animals. No interchangeable parts. As far as I'm aware the Cold Air Intake should be released shortly by K&N, JBA Headers is working on shorty headers and I think a cat-back exhaust as well. Jet performance has a chip out for the 4.0L.

Your best bet is to Google these items, links will be easy to find that way. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks for the advice. Will be on the look out for these upgrades. Have you ever tried to data-mine (surf the net) on a gimped connection... Try like 28k sometimes less. I am amazed that I can even get on this site let alone anywhere else...

Thanks for the good word though,
