Any one have any good spec's on adding a K&N type cold air intake on the 3.7's? Talked to a guy at one of the places i del. to and her said I could get about the same increase going with an intake as I would rechiping it. Any thoughts on that?
I am still very much a newbie here, but I was told to do things in that order, and so I am.
I installed my CGS cold air intake over the weekend and am extremely happy with the results. Next in my exhaust for performance mods, but that takes a backseat right now to putting hood pistons in.
I definitely agree with KenCary on putting the chip in last. All other mods are pretty much at your leisure as to which ones you put on first and last. Very unprofessionally, I think that you should try and pull out as much power as you can from your engine before you use a chip to tweak it. Good Luck!
