I have been looking on the internet, it is pretty much illegal everywhere. But I still wanna do mine just because I don't like to follow the rules.....It is illegal in texas, but legal in other states, you could call the dmv and ask just to be safe

Good point!:thk:In California rear enders are always the fault of the person who did the rear ending, following too closely is what the standard answer is.I've always wondered --
if you have tinted tail lights and you get rear ended
would the person who rear ended you be able to defend themselves because you had your tail lights covered???
