From what I remember, there was no mention in the manual. The only reason i ask is that I changed the two on my Honda this weekend; they were caked with so much dirt, leaves and pine needles it was disgusting. The blower fan and air conditioning instantly doubled in effectiveness.

As an aside, Honda offers different levels of service and inspection packages for various mileage milestones, it's not a bad way to do it. Anyway, one package is $150 more that includes changing the two pollen filters and the air filter. The Service Rep was pretty cool, he said here, I'll give you all three filters for $50, change them yourself and save $100. Total time to change was probably 15 minutes.

Where is the blower located?

Is it somewhere behind the glovebox?

I ask as I can hear a faint ticking noise when blower is on from behind the glovebox area. Thinking perhaps theres a leaf stuck in there and need to clean it out.

Now there is a mod in the making. Wonder how you could add one?
That must be a rhetorical question coming from you, Mark! :chuckle: I'll bet you have one ready in a week! For Newbies, Scar is our one-off ModMaster!

Thanks Charlie!
I don't plan on adding one right now. It can be done with a little work and a couple of parts. I figure if one wanted to do it themselves, total cost would be about $40 US give or take.

Anyone know where the blower motor unit is located?

Like I said it sounds as if it under the passanger side dash area, thanks.
It is right behind the glove box.

Thanks. Do you know if I can access it by removing the lower trip under the glovebox, or would I have to remove the glovebox also. If so, any diagrams?

I may have to invest in a service manual.
Never mind, I figured it out myself. Removal of lower trim panel.

And for the record it is the blower making a slight noise. I will live with it :i_rolleyes: as it may be normal.
