It's good to be back, Dodge Dealership look different!

It's good to be home after a week away. Had a great time in Cozumel, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great time but doesn't really want to travel to another country only to have it be exactly like the US (like Cancun...Chili's, Hooters, Blockbuster.....oh please, just drive to another town and stay in a hotel). I'll post pictures in the off-topic part.

The surprise I had is the Dodge dealership is on my way home from the airport and as I drove by, they had a BUNCH of new Nitro's out front. After I get caught up at work, I'll be taking a look. For now I'm going to go get some sleep.

Were the majority of the Nitro's SXTs? We have quite a few dealerships around here with extensive stock but they are almost 99% SXTs. For as reasonably priced as the Nitor is, you would think they would stock more SLTs.

Welcome back monkeyman! Defintely will look forward to the pictures (of Cozumel and the Nitros :D)

This was true in this area too..most dealers has 2-4 SLT's and 6+ SXT's..some of the SXTs were so loaded w/ accessories they were just as much if not more then the SLTs! Not sure why they are doing this, but Im sure they have their reasons...

I found the same to be true with the Jeep Compass. Most of the dealers in this area have Sport models that are equipped just about the same as the Limiteds. Very odd if you ask me...
Same is true here outside philly. I have seen one SLT on the local dealership's lot, and tons of SXT's come and go.
Maybe they are only making a limited number of SLTs for the first year - its quite possible..Still waiting on exact production numbers to come out to prove that :)
I was getting ready to post about this, but was checking this post first. Unbelievable, 10 total, 9 SXT's, the one SLT is almost 30k loaded with the read dvd player, etc. A bunch of junk I don't want. Some of the SXT's are loaded, but three of the things I really, really want aren't available on the SXT: Metal dash accents, sliding cargo floor and UConnect. Also, I just can't get myself to like the black plastic on the fender flares.

There are no other dealers nearby? SLTs do seem to be in short supply but remember you can search all dealerships iventory from the dodge web site..Also remember you can get things such as security alarm installed at dealer. You can get UConnect installed at dealer too but it isnt the same and the factory isntalled one is more streamlined

I know, that's why I want it factory installed. Of course this adds to the problem that I hate to buy a car I haven't driven yet. Not jus the model, but the actual one I want to buy. In searching dodge, not one Nitro in Jax has the Uconnect factory installed.
Yea i couldnt find it here either out of about 5 dealers..i guess you gotta either custom build one or be willing to drive 10-30+ miles unfortunately
Thats unusual based on the 10s of dealerships ive looked at..I think AZ would be a bit of a drive for him :p

As the Black Knight said in MP's Holy Grail, "I've had worse."

Oh yeah? What brings you into our neighborhood?
Got an internship @ Disneyworld..Starts January 22 and goes til mid August :)
What will you be doing? That's only 1.5 hours from here.
