yup just like the title says, it took like 2 minutes tops. i hit the expressway right away and the throttle response is quicker and it has a little bit of power that is noticeable. im very happy and cant wait to see how this works in the long run with gas mileage

stage 1 i didnt really see the need for the extra money to be spent
The cost of the 2 chips is about the same. the difference in money is regular vs midgrade gas.

I have the stage 2 so I can't compare it to a stage 1, but in my book, I like to go for as much ignition advance as possible and that is the main difference between the stage 1 & 2.

The advanced ingnition must come on at low speeds as the most noticable differece after the chip was the ability of the engine to pull between 300 and 1000RPM without stalling. I have a stick shift and I can pull at least one gear higher at the same RPM without stalling.

To me this low end power is important as I tow and drive off-road on occasion.

Does the unit plug in and stay or do you do the program and remove like a super chip?:Racing:

From what I've seen, it's a module that stays on the vehicle. It's "inline".

Gotta think about getting one myself.

Yes there is and it works great. I installed a Stage II on my R/T also have a AEM Brute Force CAI and Magnaflow exhaust. A huge difference in performance and torque and if that's what you are looking for, it's worth the investment

Well, I put the Stage 1 chip in this sunday. So far, haven't seen any noticeable difference in power. Hasn't been in there long enough to determine any difference in fuel economy. If anything, I'm thinking my shift pattern has gotten a bit worse. (I had just done a fresh QuickLearn on the tranny two weeks ago.)

But I need to give it a couple of weeks before making any judgments on it.

I wonder if a new QuickLearn is needed after installing a Jet Chip? Wouldn't think so.
