Installation - Easy to Moderate difficulty
1. Finding spaces to mount the HID ballasts is a little confusing, its kinda tight on the drivers side (with the battery and all).
2. The true H13 connectors on the HID kit do not fit the factory headlight connector. You need to buy some split plugs so that you can adapt the connections...probably the 20-24 AWG will work (get those at any hardware store).
3. Just make sure that you adequately ground the kit electrically speaking. They will say you can hook it up to the vehicle side wall.....dont do this. It may work, but it will periodically short out on you (trust me). All power connections should be routed through the battery (even the grounds).

My rating: Great kit! I almost blinded myself testing it, but it is a super improvement over stock. I'll post some pics tonight.

I just cut my H13 connector off on one side and hardwired it into the kit - i can always re-wire an H13 connector back on (not that I will need to) but this is much simpler and a better connection :) This is same kit I got, took me about 15minutes to install.

Your nitro looks great, except for the bra, but I know itll protect, etc etc etc its yours so enjoy! :D

jreedrx,
I assumed they would just plug into the stock harness. I guess I was mistaken. How was the guy to deal with... not sure if i am going to look elsewhere for a HID dealer that has a completely plug and play unit. Thanks for the update.. looking forward to the pix. :D

Nice R/T BTW... welcome to the R/T club! :D
