Well, I guess I was due for some trouble. I just wish it was my wife yelling about the toilet seat being up or something that was a little cheaper. I just gave the local dealer $650 to replace the TIPM, do an oil change, and do the recall on the wiper relays (the relays were no charge). I was driving down the road, minding my own business and it got really quiet. Turns out the engine had died. I shifted into neutral and tried to re-start, but no go. Called the wrecker service, towed it to the dealer, and they said the TIPM was bad. Mine has never even stalled or had the tell-tale wiper problem. From what I can gather in the forum, I'm not alone with TIPM issues. Everyone be sure to got the the transportation safety website and file a complaint so I can get my money back when the recall is issued
