I replaced the door speakers w/ the Kicker & they dont have the power rating on them or on any paper for that matter. Anyone know what the ratings are for these speakers? Thanks

Thanks for posting the sound quality comments on the Kickers. I have the Infinity speakers (possibly only sub??) and they suck compared to the full Infinity system in my Ram. Looking to swap out to the Kickers and do just the front and rear doors. Since I have the two separate speakers in the rear doors, will the mid/tweeter still work after replacing with the kickers? Still figuring out how this will work.

With all that said, any recommendations on where to get them? Wycoff has the fronts for $128 and $79 rears. Was thinking of asking our sponsor here on the board to see what price he can do. Open to suggestions. Will also have to find the plastic dash removal tool that is shown in the installation pdf. Screwdriver marks are no good!
Star,
The only thing Infinity in that system is the sub, the stock speakers have stickers on them that say "Mopar"....which are now sitting in the landfill!! Crutchfield sells all kinds of removal tools...just type that in their search engine and it pulls up a page of tools!
Thanks! Been so busy with all the other things today I haven't had much time to search.

Update: What speakers did you use in the doors and dash? I looked at Crutchfield and the separate speakers for the doors since I have the 8 speaker w/sub. The Kickers would be an easy swap, but not sure if I would like the sound vs another brand which would actually be cheaper.
They sound alot better that the stock. Only problem I have is the fronts sound better that the rears. I did the fade front to rear & there is a sound difference. I'll probably install an amp to correct & add more power.
Being yours is an R/T did your Nitro have the 8 speaker system w/sub? If so, what did you do with the rear door tweeter? I'm caught between replacing with the Kickers (as an oem replacement) or aftermarket with some Alpine's in the doors and testing it with both the tweeters connected and disconnected from the dash and rear doors. Alpine's are half of the Kicker cost right now while on sale.

Needing help in making the final decision. I want to keep the dash/door tweeters if possible but that may hurt the sound quality if I go with the Alpines.
Crutchfield has the Alpine 6 1/2's for half price (was $99 now $49). I went ahead and bought 2 sets of these and will leave the oem tweeters installed and try the system out. The Alpine's were highly rated by reviews, so I have to give them a shot. If I don't like the sound of them, I may go Kicker.

For a BOGO deal basically, I have to try it! Much cheaper than the Kickers.

After pulling mine apart, my speakers are all Infinity (see attachment). Strange they didn't make this a quality sounding system. The Infinity system in my Ram was great, these in the Nitro are terrible.

Just replaced the fronts with the aftermarket Alpine's I ordered, but it sounded worse. With the crossover built in on the Infinity's, the Alpine's didn't give the mid's and high's. Not what I was after. Back they go and will look into the Kickers at double the price of the Alpine's. Attached a picture of the Alpine install.

Just finished up installing the Kicker fronts and they ROCK!! The wife could hear me inside the house cranking it up!
